Senior Composite Design Engineer – Motorsport H/F Location: Signes, near the Paul Ricard circuit, VAR, FRANCE. Permanent contract.Assigned to the Director of Engineering, you will manage the design of functional sub assemblies of a race car as part of projects such as prototypes, GT. Responsibilities Design composite components and mechanical assemblies related to endurance racing. Find technical solutions for internal customer issues. Deliver comprehensive studies of sub‑assemblies of a racing car—such as suspensions, chassis, cooling, engine integration—through solid modeling, surface modeling, and 2D drafting, aiming for high‑performance, reliable, and optimised solutions. Manage components including suspensions, wheels, hydraulic, fuel and cooling systems, and equipment for car homologation and track‑side management (e.g., legality checks, pit‑stop equipment). Coordinate with the project manager to account for time, budget, risk, and supply‑chain, metrology, assembly, and manufacturing constraints. Ensure fully integrated system design in collaboration with simulation/modeling services, evaluating conceptual ideas with simulation. Oversee design mock‑up activity in the design office. Comply with all safety regulations across all venues. Required experience & qualifications Background in mechanical engineering or technical design education, with at least 8 years of motorsport experience, specifically in developing high‑performance racing car components. Professional experience designing complex models in CATIA V5. Good knowledge of CATIA V5 surface, solid and drawing modules. Proficient in technical English communication; French is a plus.
