THE ROLEWithin the Group Security Department, and more specifically the Targeting and Investigations Unit, the Data Analyst conducts technical investigations based on data analysis in the field of targeting.Working closely with data scientists and security analysts, the role contributes to the understanding of security-related phenomena, risk assessment, and the delivery of high value-added analytical outputs supporting operational and strategic decision-making.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Understand the Group's security challenges and propose relevant, data-driven analyses with strong operational value.Conduct technical investigations related to targeting, risk analysis, and threat detection.Design, build, and maintain databases supporting investigative activities.Process and analyze large volumes of data (big data environments).Develop clear and impactful data visualizations to support decision-making.Produce concise and structured investigation reports tailored to decision-makers.Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies and tools.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Strong skills in statistics and probabilityProficiency in Python and / or RData processing and querying : SQLData visualization and reporting tools : Power BIExperience working with big data environmentsData visualization tools and libraries : Python / R libraries, Qlik Sense or equivalentSolid understanding of data analysis methodologiesOperational Skills (Know-how)Advanced data analysis techniquesAbility to translate complex datasets into actionable insightsRisk factor assessment and prioritizationStrong results-oriented mindsetExcellent analytical synthesis and reporting skillsBehavioral Skills (Soft Skills)High level of discretion and respect for confidentialityStrong commitment and sense of responsibilityAvailability and responsivenessStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teamsInitiative, autonomy, and adaptabilityInnovative mindset and proactive attitudeAbility to perform effectively in sensitive or time-critical situationsKey Challenges of the RoleDirect contribution to strategic and operational decision-making in security mattersSupport for risk detection, anticipation, and mitigationEnhancing the value of data in support of intelligence and security activitiesCome along on CMA CGM's adventure #J-18808-Ljbffr
