Job Description J&J Innovative Medicine Research & Development, L.L.C., a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies, is recruiting for Statistics & Decision Sciences (SDS) Summer Interns for our High Wycombe (GB), Issy‑les‑Moulineaux (FR), and Allschwil (CH) locations. Virtual internships are potentially available. For SDS, summer internships are available for undergraduate and graduate students working toward a degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field. Up to 4 positions are available. Students will work with practicing statisticians and computing science specialists to learn about practical, applied statistical needs and solutions specific to clinical or nonclinical pharmaceutical industry settings. The team benefits from the student’s academic training and, in turn, contributes to the student’s professional development and offers a first‑hand opportunity to evaluate the student’s potential for future employment. Responsibilities In this role, students will support Research and Development in areas ranging from Drug Discovery through confirmatory clinical studies. Work will include data preparation, data exploration using graphical and analytical tools, statistical model building and analyses, report writing, and preparation of publication drafts. Statistical analyses will be performed with computer programs using popular packages and software applications. Additional activities may include designing experiments, conducting simulations to evaluate optimal designs, and participation in methodological development. Qualifications Legally authorized to work permanently in both the European Union and countries in Europe that are not part of the European Union, and do not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future. Enrolled in an accredited European college/university pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field. Available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks (may depend on country‑specific internship requirements) during the period of 1st June to 30th September. Proven abilities to communicate well and coordinate with mentors/supervisors are required; original thinking and leadership skills will be appreciated. Proficiency in R is preferred. Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required. Focused, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks. Capable of working independently as well as on a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
