Role Overview We are looking for a Superintendent 4‑Stroke (H/F) to join our energetic Field Service Marine team in France. The primary location is Marseille, but we also consider candidates from Nantes or Harfleur. This role offers extensive travel – about 80 % of the time – with most of the work taking place on‑site at customer locations worldwide. Your Role and Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for customers on‑site, ensuring smooth communication and operations. Lead and manage the execution of maintenance and repair activities, meeting customer expectations and company guidelines. Oversee the application of Quality, Safety and Environmental standards during all work activities. Provide detailed and structured reports on completed work, including measurements, photos and findings. Track progress, report on job status and manage time and spare parts effectively. Represent the company professionally, ensuring your team maintains high standards of conduct and appearance. Be ready to travel globally on short notice, spending approximately 80 % of your time on‑site with customers. Requirements for the Position ENSM diploma in mechanical engineering or related field (or BTS with proven hands‑on experience). Knowledge of 4‑stroke internal‑combustion engines. Understanding of automation systems. Leadership and communication skills to guide your team and build strong customer relationships. Proficiency in English for effective communication worldwide. Ability to write clear, structured and detailed work reports. Proficiency in IT tools, including the MS Office suite. Focus on cost awareness and efficiency. Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 80 % of your time) to customer sites worldwide. Ability to work abroad and on‑board sailing vessels. Ideal Candidate Qualities Previous industry experience (engine tuning, development or maintenance) is a plus. Highly organized with strong interpersonal relationship skills.
