Delivery Lead BI Freelance H/F Kicklox is looking for a Delivery Lead BI Freelance (H/F) to oversee and guide Agile Delivery of the Data & BI Squads within the IDS Data Scope. Description This position provides oversight and Agile Delivery guidance of the Data & BI Squads within the IDS Data Scope. You will provide hands-\u2011on guidance on data-\u2011driven and Business Intelligence initiatives and support the integration of these products within the IT Ecosystem. The BI Delivery Lead will report to the BI Service Owner and partner with Product Owners, Squad, Tech Lead Data to manage all aspects of Agile Delivery from Discovery to User Adoption. Critical to this role is an understanding of modern data-\u2011driven application concepts, Agile & DevOps delivery frameworks and their application to Data Products & Thales Organizational Ecosystem. Responsibilities Partner with the BI Service Owner and users to understand BI & Data related business challenges and shape the accurate product development roadmap during the scoping phase. Coordinate Discovery phase efforts with Data Governance Service Owners, Data Architects, ETL Squad, Tribe Tech Lead, Business Analysts, UX Designers & Product Owners. Manage relationships with Staffing Supplier to address squad staffing flows. Follow up on pre-launch KPIs ensuring data readiness, architecture definition, squad readiness & all prerequisites before launching delivery cycles. Shape the roadmap, squad staffing & budget to address business needs. Ensure quality deliverables; enforce best practices, address critical issues timely, and ensure each Data & BI product delivered achieves the expected value. Coordinate production of relevant KPIs, follow trends, and propose analysis and action plans to reach target KPI values. Secure business milestones by implementing right solutions and alerting on budget requirements or adjustments. Empower squads; support product owners and business partners to adopt “user‑driven” principles and incremental delivery. Assist in defining and implementing user‑adoption tactics to increase product value. Collaborate with suppliers to develop BI & Analytics solutions and ensure squads meet delivery cycle goals & KPIs. Communicate effectively with squads, product owners, business users & IT service owners to ensure flawless delivery and remove roadblocks. Resolve impediments and coordinate inter-service dependencies. Escalate efficiently service issues and complex interdependencies faced by the squad to the IDS BI Service Owner. Facilitate proactive communication to stakeholders including risk management, incident process, budget follow-up and issue resolution. Stay on top of technical trends, experiment with, and learn new technologies. Ensure supplier compliance with contractual engagements. Track delivery KPIs to drive supplier relationships on Data BI scope. Manage squad members turnover and overall Data BI squad workload. Monitor budget & alert on changes. Design, build, deploy and improve delivery & support frameworks with the supplier’s near‑shore model. Deliverables Success of digital projects. Value of resulting enablers. Qualifications and Soft Skills 7 years experience leading Agile software development or data squads, with strong communication & collaboration skills; ability to lead large squads distributed across France, the Middle East, Mauritius & Romania; collaboration close with business, suppliers and third‑party service owners from the IT ecosystem. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Science, Engineering) or equivalent. Experience executing and prioritizing several tasks autonomously. Pro‑active and creative approach to problem solving. Good communication and leadership; ability to provide guidance and feedback to technical resources. Experience working in a flat tribe environment, influencing and fostering collaboration. Experience with tech leads and architects to ensure alignment with global data & analytics strategy, escalating deviations as needed. Language French. Company Thales – Defence & Security.
