As the Grant Writer & Fundraising Officer, working closely with the CFO, you will secure the capital required to save lives. Your primary mission is to navigate the complex landscape of European Union funding, private philanthropy, and corporate sponsorship. You will translate our operational needs into persuasive, professional proposals that convince donors to invest in the preservation of rural Europe. You are not just raising money; you are securing the resources that equip our volunteers on the ground.Personal EvolutionAutonomyAdministrative WorkTechnical ExpertiseResponsibilitiesResearch and identify funding opportunities from the EU (Horizon Europe, LIFE Program), national governments, and private foundations.Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals and applications.Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and reporting requirements.Assist the CFO in preparing financial reports for donors.Create fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the Social Media department.Must HaveProven track record of securing grants or funding (portfolio or examples required).Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive narratives.Ability to understand and organize complex financial data and budgets.Meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines.Fluency in English (C1/C2).Nice to haveExperience specifically with European Union grant applications.Fluency in French or German (major donor languages).Background in environmental science or rural policy.What\'s great in the job?The direct correlation between your success and the organization\'s ability to operate.High visibility role with potential for commissions or performance recognition (subject to Board approval). #J-18808-Ljbffr
