This is a technical role, delivering post-sales testing services to key customers.Job DescriptionJob Description Summary: Fortinet is looking for a Network QA Engineer to join the EMEA Customer Readiness Testing team in Sophia Antipolis Technical Assistance Centre, France. This is a technical role, delivering post-sales testing services to key customers.The Customer Readiness Testing team performs tests designed to replicate the customer environment in which Fortinet products are used, with the goal of improving confidence in our software builds.The position requires candidates with strong experience in network security (preferably in technical support or QA) and the ability to set up testing environments, define and execute test cases, and document test results in service reports for customers.The role demands excellent written communication skills and the ability to interpret written information accurately.Key Responsibilities:Implementation of customer projects - Testing of Fortinet products in production environments following CRT processes.Understanding testing requirements and customer information from project proposals.Writing project documents (Topologies, Test Plans, Procedures) with technical diagrams.Provisioning the System Under Test to replicate customer environments.Configuring traffic generators (FortiTester / Spirent / Ixia) to simulate customer traffic.Defining and executing test cases based on requirements.Investigating technical problems involving Fortinet products.Collaborating with R&D to resolve issues.Documenting test results and delivering reports to customers.Traffic Generators (FortiTester / Spirent / Ixia) Management:Create and maintain TG management VM templates.Define and maintain CRT application flows catalog.Manage TG resources for customer projects, ensuring optimal utilization.Participate in post-project reviews and update TG databases.Upgrade and maintain TG hardware/software following ITIL best practices.Coordinate with vendors for feature requests and improvements.Support customer projects by handling incidents/issues via JIRA.Assist in hardware provisioning in CRT data center.Coordinate with vendor support for external tickets and escalations.Participate in SDN development initiatives.Other responsibilities include creating technical documentation, developing core competencies in Fortinet products, and collaborating with support teams.Skills and Attributes Requirements:Proficient in English (spoken and written).Deep understanding of data networking protocols, especially TCP/IP, routing, and switching.Excellent presentation and technical documentation skills.Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured approach.Knowledge of application and security testing tools (Spirent, Ixia).Experience with security products (firewalls, IPsec, IDS/IPS, Anti-Spam, AV).Understanding of web application security and vulnerabilities.Experience with Fortinet products is advantageous.Positive, communicative, and customer-oriented attitude.Ability to work in multicultural teams.Knowledge of software testing, scripting, and ITIL frameworks is a plus.Educational and Experience Requirements:At least five years of experience in network security (support or QA).Graduate of a network and security engineering program.Advanced English skills; additional languages are a plus.Additional Details:Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and ITIndustry: Computer and Network Security #J-18808-Ljbffr
