Interface Engineer

The service provider will be responsible for all activities related to interface management within the package. This includes the definition, development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Interface Management System. Service Provider will develop plans, procedures, and requirements for contractors, ensure their implementation by project teams and contractors, and oversee their execution and close-out throughout the project.Service Provider will also be responsible for the functional supervision of package interface and support the Project Interface and Risk Manager to highlight the corresponding risks and for defining adequate reporting of interface and risk matters to project management.ResponsibilitiesAdopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior with regard to H3SE, implement H3SE rules and requirements within service provider’s area of responsibility, and comply with H3SE training requirements for the position.Promote and enforce the company's Ethics and "Code of Conduct" policy and support the Anti-Corruption Program within the project.Be aware of interface and risk management lessons learned from similar projects and apply them to the Germany Offshore Wind project.Define, maintain, and implement interface and risk management policies, plans, procedures, and requirements for the project and contractors, ensuring the associated organization and means are in place.Identify all interfaces resulting from the split of work packages and ensure the corresponding split of responsibilities is covered at contract preparation stage and after contract award, as necessary.Organize, control, and follow up the implementation of interface and risk management processes with package interface and risk management correspondents to ensure timely delivery of all deliverables by contractors and the timely close-out of all interfaces and risk management activities.Organize weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with package interface and risk management correspondents and contractors' interface and risk managers as appropriate.Ensure that contractors provide proper reporting of the progress of their interface and risk management activities through package interface and risk management correspondents.Identify and report any issues or conflicts, including schedule conflicts, between different contracts to the package manager for further arbitration.Ensure timely identification of potential interface problems and risk management issues by organizing regular project interface and risk management meetings and workshops.Prepare for continuous follow-up of the construction and testing of contractor/company items, ensuring their timely delivery and handover to the interfacing party.Support and participate in the maintenance of project main documents.Ensure adequate and timely reporting to the package manager.Assist the package manager with relations with partners regarding interface and risk matters.Ensure the confidentiality of all interface and risk management documentation produced.Gather lessons learned and provide feedback to relevant Company entities as required.RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of experience in offshore wind projects, with a focus on technical interface management.Strong understanding of offshore wind project development.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Proven track record of managing technical interfaces and working in a complex project environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Effective communicator, both written and verbal (English mandatory), enjoying and being effective at developing contractors' relationships at the appropriate level.Experience in preparing and following Tender processes related to the package.Ability to take ownership of projects and tasks, work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction. #J-18808-Ljbffr
