Development Improvement Engineer MFX

To support our continued growth we are currently looking for passionate people ready to make a difference in the following open position : Development Improvement Engineer F / M / X.This position is based in our Headquarters based in Lyon (7e) and reports to the R&D and Capabilities Director.MISSIONLead cross-functional working groups to define and implement improvements in the development process and design methodologies.Analyze current development activities and tools to improve their usage and efficiency.Train teams on development processes and activities.Support project teams in implementing the development process.Evaluate the efficiency of development process application through audits design reviews etc.Contribute to mapping and improving the development workflow.Guide teams on how to improve their ways of working and train them on new workflows and procedures.ACTIVITIESDevelopment of standards and improvement of development procedures.Follow-up and facilitation of SME-related topics.Participation in project reviews to support teams.Conduct training sessions and support change management.Apply and enforce procedures and instructions related to quality environment health & safety confidentiality and good manufacturing practices.QUALIFICATIONS : REQUIRED PROFILEDegree in mechanical engineering design engineering or product design.Technical background in product design and development.Experience in detailed design and development of complex products and in leading multidisciplinary project teams.Experience in continuous improvement within an innovation and development environment.Knowledge of design and development for mass production products including machinery and plastic injection.SKILLSBroad understanding of the product development process across various verticals.Ability to understand constraints and priorities of different SMEs and to unite teams toward optimal compromises without imposing personal views.Capacity to maintain focus on the overall picture and objectives without getting lost in details.Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English : able to explain concepts lead training sessions synthesize and rephrase ideas and write instructions procedures and training materials.Lean mindset : challenge the status quo identify simplification opportunities and question established habits.Ability to work independently lead groups and maintain motivation without external pressure.Leadership persuasiveness and effective communication.Additional Information :Our Recruitment ProcessWe believe in a transparent and straightforward recruitment process to ensure a great fit for both you and our team.Heres what you can expect :CV Review : Upon receiving your CV our Talent Acquisition Team will review it to assess your qualifications for the role.Initial Screening : If your profile matches our requirements youll be invited for an initial screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition Team.Interview with Hiring Manager : After the initial screening youll have an interview with the Hiring Manager to discuss your experience skills and fit for the role in more detail.Interview with N2 : youll be invited to meet with the next level of management (N2) for further evaluation.HR Manager Interview : The final step involves an interview with our HR Manager to discuss company culture benefits and other HR-related topics.Offer : If all goes well youll receive an offer to join our teamWe look forward to receiving your application (resume submitted in English is appreciated).
