The Supplier Manager (W/M/D) is responsible for the development and implementation of commodity strategies and supplier management in assigned spend categories. He performs sourcing activities for a set portfolio of spend categories at a global and/or local level to achieve commodity results and ensure compliance with the Group Strategy. This opportunity is for you Your Mission As a Supplier Manager (W/M/D), you will be responsible for the development and implementation of commodity strategies and supplier management in assigned spend categories. You will perform the sourcing activities for a set portfolio of spend categories at a global and/or local level to achieve commodity results and ensure compliance with the Group Strategy. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement global procurement strategies for assigned categories. Analyze spend data and continuously benchmark the market. Identify risks and opportunities; create and execute annual savings plans. Lead strategic negotiations for long‑term contracts at an international level. Manage supplier relationships and monitor KPIs, taking corrective actions when needed. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support cross‑functional initiatives. Ensure compliance with sourcing processes and maintain ERP data accuracy. Your Profile Master’s degree or equivalent (Engineering, Business, Economics preferred). Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategic sourcing within an international manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Experience in manufacturing or sales is a plus. Knowledge of the Transmission market is advantageous. Fluent in English; additional languages such as French, Italian or Chinese are a plus. International work experience is highly valued.
