Apply today and help us build a more inclusive, sustainable future in the world of satellite technologyJob OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Director of GEO Commercial Management to join our team and play a critical role in leading and executing commercial strategies that enhance Eutelsat OneWeb’s GEO connectivity business.In this role, you will oversee the commercial management of our GEO satellites assets, driving growth and optimizing value across global markets. You will lead a team of Senior Commercial Managers and work closely with sales, business development, digital tools, and capacity management, marketing, and legal teams to ensure the success of our GEO connectivity offerings. This is a unique opportunity to a leadership role in a fast-evolving connectivity industry, where you will influence key business decisions, develop innovative go-to-market strategies, and enhance Eutelsat OneWeb’s GEO competitive position.Who You AreYou are commercially driven leader, with a passion for optimizing value and creating innovative solutions for customers. You are an effective communicator and negotiator, comfortable engaging both internally at the executive level and externally with customers and partners.What You’ll DoLead and develop a high-performing team of Senior Commercial Managers, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with business objectives.Drive commercial strategy and revenue growth for GEO satellite assets, optimizing pricing models, business structures and market positioning (internally versus LEO offerings and externally versus satellite competitors)Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes, adapting strategies to maintain a leading position in the industry.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enhance the product portfolio based on market insights, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.Own the value proposition and lifecycle of GEO connectivity product & services offerings, ensuring market relevance and competitive differentiation.Develop and implement pricing strategies, business models, and commercial frameworks for connectivity solutions.Oversee commercial negotiations, and customer deal structuring, ensuring optimal contract terms and financial viability, aligned with product offeringsDevelop and present high-quality business cases with financial modelling and strategic rationale for executive approval.Develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, coordinating with product, sales, and marketing teams to drive successful launches and lifecycle management.Ensure efficient capacity management and alignment of GEO assets with market demand and revenue opportunities.Document and report opportunity and offering progress and development in tooling as per defined processesMonitor the financial and operational performance of market offerings, driving continuous improvement and adaptation to market needs.What You’ll NeedA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience, with a strong focus on commercial strategy through customer deals and / or market offering development, preferably in satellite communications, telecom or connectivity servicesStrong leadership and team management experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teamsDeep understanding of GEO satellite markets, including pricing strategies, business models, and capacity managementStrong financial acumen, with experience in building business cases, revenue forecasting, and financial modelling.Proven track record of leading high-value commercial negotiations and managing strategic customer relationships.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.Proficiency in English (French or other additional languages is a plus).PMP certification or experience with project management methodologies is a plus.Where You’ll WorkThis role is based from Eutelsat London or Paris offices (with some WFH flexibility included) Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.The Eutelsat Group treats the protection of personal data submitted to it seriously.
