RH / HR Business Partner (H/F) - Fonctions commerciales Avignon, France HR Business Partner/Manager – Commercial Functions France, Switzerland, Benelux, Export PRINCIPALES MISSIONS Reporting to the EMEA Commercial and Marketing HR Director, this HR Business Partner role is a key member of the France Leadership Team. The position is responsible for delivering core HR programs and driving the implementation of high‑performing organisational structures across the Commercial and Marketing divisions in France, Benelux, Switzerland, and Export—aligned with the strategic objectives of the EMEA roadmap. In addition, the role sits on cross‑functional leadership teams, contributing to the development and execution of initiatives that support both short‑ and long‑term business goals, with a strong focus on performance, employee engagement, and cultural alignment. This role plays a key part in embedding our McCormick culture and shaping the people strategy, including building and delivering a comprehensive people roadmap. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Drive the HR agenda for the Commercial and Marketing teams which support business growth, building capabilities and driving engagement, in partnership with managers. Work closely with Commercial and Marketing leaders across all HR areas to deliver the best possible employee experience. Effectively lead any change management initiatives in support of organisational and employee related changes in any areas. Ensure organisational design and resource capability are in place to enable achievement of business goals through robust recruitment and development processes. Work in partnership with the team to ensure effective management of complex employee relations issues. Work closely with HR expert functions (Compensation & Benefits, Talent & Learning, Talent Acquisition, and Internal Communications) to ensure appropriate deployment of HR processes (Talent review, Employee Engagement Survey, Annual Salary review, Learning activities, etc). Work closely with our Shared Services Centre based in Poland, who provide HR administrative and transactional support to the Site. Provide HR expertise to business and commercial functions on implementing and delivering people aspects of business programmes. Drive HR process improvement, special projects and effective change management programmes/initiatives from idea through implementation. Operationalise strategic HR initiatives/programmes and execute usually at a country or site level. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree (Master 2) in Human Resources, Social Law, or a business school diploma with a specialisation in HR Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a commercial environment Proven HR experience across multiple areas of HR, with partnering, managing, or providing consultation to a customer group – Proven experience of providing generalist HR support in a Commercial or Consumer environment would be a significant advantage. Experience with diverse client groups and agility to work with matrixed functional areas and stakeholders. Strong understanding of French employment legislation, with proven experience managing employee relations in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. Experience with other European employment laws – would be a significant advantage. Proven experience in delivery and execution of effective talent development strategies. Prior experience of driving change initiatives to successful conclusion. Experience of coaching leaders to deliver effective people solutions. Ability to influence without formal authority at all levels of the organisation. Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation. Ability to work remotely with a good balance of autonomy and reporting. Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP. We kindly ask the CVs to be in English.
