As part of a six-person legal team, you will play a critical role in supporting Malt’s growth in France and abroad by being a reliable business partner to the sales team.At Malt, you will be surrounded by very talented people who are always happy to support you. You will be exposed to a wide range of issues that will help you develop a T-shaped skill set and boost your professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Review & Negotiation:Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with French and international clients and providersBusiness Development:Actively participate in client calls and partner meetings to explain Malt's business model and address legal concernsContribute to the development and implementation of legal strategies to support Malt's international expansionLegal Counsel & Support:Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to internal teams (Sales, Customer Care, Product, etc.) on a broad range of legal and compliance issuesDevelop and deliver internal training programs on legal and compliance topicsAct as a legal product referent, ensuring product compliance with applicable laws and regulationsAbout YouYou have 4+ years of legal experience as a lawyer in a (tech) company or law firm;Proven experience in contract lawYou are Business-Focus: Strong client service orientation, including the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the various teams at Malt (sales, product, etc.), understand client needs, and provide timely and effective legal adviceYou are hands-on: we have a lot to build, you’ll have to imagine solutions and turn them into realityProblem-Solving: Ability to effectively address legal challenges and find practical and business-oriented solutionsYou are fluent in French and English; a third European language would be a big plusYou are comfortable with change, you are curious and always want to learn new skills;Knowing the tech environments is a strong plus;How to join the mission?First call with Alex, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer any questions you may have.
