Description of the departmentAXA IM Prime is the private assets one-stop platform of AXA IM, offering investments across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt and hedge funds. We offer diversified sources of private market returns through primaries, secondaries, co-investments, as well as NAV financing and GP minority stakes solutions. Through partnerships with best-in-class fund managers, we tailor investment solutions for institutional investors and wealth managers that support long-term sustainable growth. AXA IM Prime’s team of seasoned investment professionals has a long history of meeting AXA group’s ambitious investment targets whilst incorporating proactive ESG commitments and strict risk management criteria. AXA IM Prime oversees EUR30bn of alternative assets, with EUR5bn of commitments to further be deployed over the next 3 years.3. The main responsibilities of the roleThe role-holder will support the GP Stake Investments team and contribute to building and executing the investment strategy to get exposure to minority stakes of GPs / Private Markets Asset Managers through various routes (direct investments in GPs’ equity, GP minority stake fund commitments, co-Investments, strategic partnerships).As the GP stake team and the investment strategy are in the process of being built, this internship is a great opportunity to join an intrapreneurial experience.Your role and responsibilities will include :Assist the investment team in various aspects of the investment processPerform market screening to support the creation of the deal flowAnalysis and update of market valuations database based on listed comparables, market transactions and analysts notesDrafting of monthly newsletter related to GP Stake activity dedicated to AXA IM PrimeCarry out financial and strategic analyses as well as financial modelling of potential investment opportunitiesConduct research on key themes in line with our investment strategyPerform ad-hoc tasks and projects related to our activityVotre ProfilSHARE your unique expertise4. ProfileWe welcome different combinations of skills & experiences.Your qualifications and experience :Undertaking a masters or advanced degree in Finance / EconomicsPrevious experience in M&A Investment banking, Private Equity or Management Consulting is highly preferredYour knowledge and skills :Strong analytical skills and ability to manage databases and reporting tools used to drive decision-making (knowhow of private markets to be seen as a positive element).
