Alteia is seeking a talented and passionate Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines specializing in complex geospatial and 3D data. Collaborating closely with our data science team, you will be a key driver in optimizing our MLOps framework and deploying efficient production pipelines using cloud‑native technologies. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions to our enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities 🏗️ Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of complex data, particularly geospatial and 3D datasets. 🚀 Work with the data science team to design, build, and optimize our MLOps framework, enabling the efficient deployment and monitoring of machine learning models. 🛠️ Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for data science and application development teams. ☁️ Work with cloud-native solutions to store and manage massive datasets efficiently. 🚀 Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and engineering practices. 📊 Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner. Required Qualifications & Skills 🎓 Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, working with large-scale data processing. 💻 Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python. 🌍 Experience processing and managing geospatial or 3D data (e.g., GDAL, PDAL, GeoPandas). 🤖 Experience with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow). 🔄 Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Argo Workflow, Prefect). 🐳 Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is strongly appreciated. ☁️ Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). 🗣️ Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. 🤝 Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 🇬🇧 Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
