Embedded Linux Engineer Contract Type: Permanent | Location: Lyon | Ref: 1893 Budget: 50-65k€ (Annuel) Key Points of the Position We are looking for developers passionate about embedded Linux, eager to push the boundaries of their skills. Your Missions Port open-source Linux drivers and bootloaders to new hardware platforms Develop Linux Kernel and U-Boot drivers Develop Linux distributions using tools like Yocto, OpenEmbedded, or Buildroot Contribute to open-source projects in the Linux ecosystem (Kernel, Buildroot, Yocto, U-Boot, etc.) Must-Have Skills Engineering degree or BAC+5, with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role Expertise in embedded Linux: Yocto, OpenEmbedded, Buildroot, etc. Experience porting Linux to hardware components Fluency in English is essential due to international clients Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in multimedia with Linux: graphics, display, video, audio Existing and relevant contributions to open-source projects Speaker at conferences Experience in delivering training in embedded Linux Additional Benefits Support from a senior Linux expert for skill development Access to technical books Opportunity to become a contributor or maintainer of open-source projects Potential for career advancement to trainer or technical lead (client focal point) Opportunity to speak or participate in 2 industry conferences annually, internationally Modern office facilities, including showers Employee benefits beyond the minimum collective agreement: Health insurance Public transport subscription CESU Vacation vouchers Meal vouchers Profit-sharing agreement and participation in the company's results One team-building week per year Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
