Short Intro and About the JobQuality and Food Safety in Sourcing are the gatekeepers of ingredients and packaging materials brought into Danone. As we serve a highly sensitive and diverse group of customers, consumers, and patients, this is reflected in the diversity of suppliers to be managed, and depth of the relationships that need to be built and maintained.This position supports our Global QFS organization and our mission “bringing health through food to as many people as possible” by ensuring Danone QFS requirements are implemented at supplier sites to ensure safe, compliant and fit-for-use materials.Your main mission will be:Lead and ensure that the quality requirements for (in particular) Recycled plastics upstream Materials from Danone Suppliers are sustainably met by auditing , monitoring and continuously developing Suppliers on Quality, Food Safety and Performance. Possibility to extend to other plastic packaging categories.Be an expert and continue develop expertise & consolidate knowledge into standards, guidelines and contributing to Danone policies.Develop local capabilities, transfer portfolio expertise and animate the global QFS in sourcing community as part of the global center of excellence.Support delivery of innovation, dual sourcing, compliance and productivity projects requiring new supplier site development or existing supplier site changesDevelop culture of quality and a consumer-centric & risk-based mindset of suppliers and buyersAbout YouYou are an autonomous, proactive and mobile team player who can easily connect with cross functional stakeholders. You are a good communicator (even difficult messages) with a strong ability to influence people inside and outside of the Danone organization. You build trust-based transparent relationships with people, can take the lead in unclear situations and strive to always deliver QFS compliance.For this role it is important to have a proactive attitude, prioritization skills with a strong eye for detail.You’ll fit perfectly if you have:10+ years of experience working at a senior level in food or packaging productionExpert knowledge of sourcing, manufacturing, and handling of upstream plastics and in particular recycled plastics technology and manufacturing for food contact purposes. A broader experience of packaging materials and packaging material manufacturing lines and filling lines is an advantage.Experience in industry organization expert group collaboration is an advantage.Data gathering and analysis capability, including statistical process control (SPC)Demonstrated command of project management and problem-solving techniquesA solid auditing experience, preferably with lead auditor certificationDemonstrated skills and competencies to develop other people.Strong skills in cross-functional and cross-cultural stakeholder managementCapability to work autonomously, connect to a remote team of experts and drive your travel planningAbout Us, We offer and What's nextWe are proud to promote diversity and equal opportunity within our teams.
