We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement model‑based control software for electromechanical brakes and parking brakes.Develop functional models according to MAAB design standards and Astemo guidelines.Design software safety mechanisms in line with software safety analysis.Perform data typing and fixed‑point scaling operations.Script and test verification scenarios for model implementation.Execute Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) verification and back‑to‑back testing.Generate embedded C code using Embedded‑Coder toolbox.Optimize generated C code through algorithm improvements.Enhance Astemo standard configurations for embedded C code generation.Conduct static code analysis and develop efficiency tools for the MBD life cycle.Design and verify Astemo standard Simulink library blocks.Review technical designs, code, and tests.Apply configuration management processes and tools.Follow project processes, guidelines, and checklists to ensure conformance.Report progress through daily and weekly internal meetings.Propose continuous improvement initiatives for the project and team.Raise proactive flags for any issue impacting the project or team.Communicate professionally and autonomously with team members.Key Professional CompetenciesStrong embedded C language development skills.Strong model‑based development expertise.Deep knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Embedded‑Coder.Proficiency in Misra‑C (2004, 2012).Proficiency in ISO26262‑6.Knowledge of microcontroller architecture is a plus.Proficiency in MATLAB scripting.Knowledge of control law is a plus.Knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic Platform is a plus.Knowledge of tools: DOORS, SVN, Jira is a plus.Knowledge of ASPICE is a plus.Key Personal CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong communication and reporting skills.Autonomous and self‑motivated.Collaborative and team spirit.Ability to work in a multicultural environment.B2 Upper Intermediate English.Qualification & ExperienceDegree in computer science and/or electronics.6 to 8 years of software engineering experience.4 years of relevant experience as a software model‑based implementation engineer or at least 6 years as a software developer engineer.About AstemoThe Brake Business Unit is one of the world’s largest automotive braking solution manufacturers, offering disc brakes, drum brakes, electro‑mechanical parking brakes, and rotors for passenger cars, light commercial and two‑wheel vehicles.
