Senior Analyst - Primary Rating Structured FinanceSummaryThe Senior Analyst takes part to and leads in complete or partial autonomy credit rating committees for the assignment and, occasionally, monitoring of structured finance ratings. In this context, the jobholder supports the analysis of complex structured finance instruments and analyses simple / standard structured finance transactions. Moreover, the Senior Analyst contributes to the development and maintenance of analytical tools and occasionally of credit rating methodologies, writes insightful credit research related to the structured finance sector and takes part to operational review visits. This position offers a long-term career path for high-performing analysts with opportunities to enhance analytical skills.Duties & responsibilitiesAnalyses and occasionally monitors, as a lead analyst, simple / standard structured finance transactions to assign and maintain credit ratings on structured finance instrumentsUnderstands and contributes to the development of Scope’s analytical capabilities and methodologiesSupports the development of existing and new analytical tools, contributes to the validation or testing of methodologiesCommunicates and occasionally collaborates with various internal and external parties in the context of analysis and ratingsProvides guidance to internsProduces research and analytical comments on a timely basisAt least 3 years of experience in the structured finance sector or closely related sectorsBachelor's or master's degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent qualificationGood analytical skills either qualitative or quantitative or both, with an adequate understanding of financial market and creditKnowledge of one or more structured finance industry segments or geographical markets, including familiarity with either one or all of the following areas: asset, counterparty and structural analysis, as well as cash flow modelling and documentation reviewAbility to understand and identify key rating factorsSound understanding and proficiency in the use of quantitative tools specific to the analysis of structured finance transactionsMulti-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive and detail-oriented personalityAccountable and dynamic with the ability to work in full autonomy and multi-taskIndependent thinker with strong problem-solving, written and oral communication skillsFluency in at least a major language in addition to EnglishInterested?If this sounds like a journey for you, we look forward to learning more from your convincing application.
