The platform is highly configurable and used by multiple international stakeholders, making the challenge particularly stimulating. We’re seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to drive quality automation across API, end-to-end, and performance testing. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards as we transition to a microservice architecture. You’ll build robust automation frameworks, ensure system reliability at scale, and implement quality gates throughout the CI/CD pipeline. You’ll work closely with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and with developers to clarify API contracts and UI.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality mindset: Champion quality standards across the team, proactively identifying risks and proposing improvements to prevent defects rather than just detecting themTest Automation: Design and implement comprehensive API test automation frameworks, covering functional, integration, and contract testing for RESTful and event-driven servicesEnd-to-End Testing: Develop and maintain E2E test suites that validate critical user journeys across multiple micro-services and frontend applicationsPerformance Engineering: Design and execute load testing strategies, including stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing, to ensure system performance under various conditionsFramework Development: Extend reusable test automation frameworks and libraries that can scale across multiple squadsQuality Gates: Implement automated quality gates in CI pipelines, ensuring code doesn’t progress without meeting quality criteriaCross-team Collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC5+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years focused on test automationAPI Testing Expertise: Strong experience with REST API testing tools (Postman, Bruno, REST Assured, Karate) and API test automation frameworksE2E Testing Skills: Proficiency in E2E testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver) with experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testingPerformance Testing: Hands-on experience with load testing tools (JMeter, K6) and performance monitoring (using ELK, Grafana)Programming Skills: Strong coding abilities in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation developmentCI/CD Integration: Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Microservices Testing: Understanding of testing strategies for distributed systems, including service virtualization and chaos engineeringVersion Control: Proficiency with Git and branching strategyLanguages: English C1 – French B2+HR ScreeningTechnical Interview with the Head of EngineeringHome Case studyCulture fit interview with HRD and CTOOffer / Benefits🏆 Offer Ready to leave your mark on the transformation of a strong, market-established SaaS?
