Position Overview We are seeking a senior hardware infrastructure architect to join our Platforms Architecture team; someone with a deep understanding of the full data‑center infrastructure stack from power and cooling distribution to the chip level. Your expertise will define optimized future server concepts that deliver the best PUE, WUE or TCO solutions to our customers. Key Responsibilities Manage the pre‑studies of servers and racks based on market needs with the support of experts. Define concepts of the overall server perimeter, including power management (AC/DC, DC/DC, UPS, battery storage, PDU), thermal management (CDU, in‑row cooling, evaporative and free cooling chillers, heat reuse). Monitor and manage systems, networking topologies and cabling. Oversee datacenter building aspects such as concrete, false floor, equipment and best practices. Size and compare concepts by calculating KPIs and performing concrete pre‑studies using CAD or CFD tools. Write and maintain the specification document describing the architecture of a project and its requirements. Monitor target infrastructure and emerging architectures such as the Open Compute Initiative and future technologies. Interact with partners to gain knowledge of their advanced programs and participate in international conferences. Required Qualifications University studies (Bac +5) or PhD in engineering. +10 years of experience in an R&D development or systems engineering team, ideally with a computer equipment manufacturer, telecom, or complex electronic systems. Deep understanding of power, cooling, networking and construction systems. Familiarity with sustainability and energy‑efficient data center designs. Creative, rigorous, and recognized for autonomy and team spirit. Strong relationship‑building skills with stakeholders and partners. Ability to analyze and synthesize needs effectively.
