Overview Looking for a Network & Security Architect to design, evolve and govern network architectures across a large hybrid environment (datacenters, 3500 remote sites, cloud, telecom operators). The role is central to ensuring consistency, security, performance and modernization of the network and security foundation. Key Responsibilities Design and document end-to-end network / telecom architectures: LAN / WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, cloud networking, DMZ, IP telephony. Ensure alignment with internal standards and security availability and resilience requirements. Provide expert guidance to technical and project teams on technology choices, risks and migration strategies. Drive standardization, automation and industrialization of network solutions. Participate in Architecture Boards / Design Authority and maintain the technical reference repository. Main Deliverables Architecture documents (DAT / HLD / LLD). Technical recommendations and decision notes. Design Authority presentations. Risk and progress reporting. Short-Term Priorities Produce a Secure SD-WAN RFP for 3500 sites. Finalize the DMZ / exposure network architecture after deployment of a new intranet fabric. Requirements Must-Have Skills & Experience : Proven experience as Network & Security Architect in large multi-site enterprise environments. Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, SD-WAN, VLANs, load balancing and hybrid / cloud connectivity. Solid network cybersecurity background (segmentation, DMZ design, secure access, resilience). Excellent architecture documentation and communication skills. Vendor knowledge : Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5 (or equivalent). Nice-to-Have / Tools : TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, LeanIX. Jira / Confluence (or Visio). Soft Skills : Technical leadership, autonomy, rigor. Strong stakeholder management and cross-team communication. Ability to run workshops with vendors and internal engineering teams.
