Join Canonical as a Senior Jira Administrator. Location: Anywhere in EMEA time zones – fully remote work with bi‑annual in‑person team events. Responsibilities Manage the Atlassian Jira Cloud instance across the organization. Design, document, and implement processes and automation in Jira. Build integrations between Jira and the data warehouse. Develop analytical dashboards that empower stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions. Create scalable learning resources for team members. Collaborate globally with engineering, operations, and support teams. Own and resolve critical escalations in a timely manner. Qualifications Strong academic background from high school to university. Hands‑on experience administering Atlassian Jira and its ecosystem. Understanding of typical Jira usage patterns for both technical and non‑technical departments. Software development experience in Python. Professional written and spoken English. Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability. Ability to collaborate remotely with diverse stakeholders and remain highly motivated, productive, and organized in a fully remote environment. Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Perspective on process architecture.
