You will be part of a team of 3 people. The Web Hosting team is responsible for maintaining and evolving the platform that enables thousands of customers to host their websites and associated services (databases, mail, FTP, backups, and more). From performance tuning to managing incidents, the team ensures the smooth operation of our shared hosting infrastructure.Your Daily RoutineMaintain and evolve our shared hosting infrastructure (mail, web, DB)Ensure high availability and minimise downtimeDevelop internal tools to enhance platform stability and performanceHandle production issues and resolve alerts rapidlyMonitor systems and identify areas of improvementImprove deployment pipelines and CI/CD practicesContribute to containerisation efforts (Docker and related tech)Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust featuresWrite and maintain documentationParticipate in on‑call rotationHard SkillsStrong knowledge of Bash scripting and one or more of: Go, Python, Perl, PHPExperience with Apache, Nginx, HaProxy, php‑fpmProduction experience with Docker or container technologiesGood grasp of networking fundamentalsFamiliarity with PostgreSQL and MySQLProficient with Git, GitLab, CI/CD toolsKnowledge of Ansible and RabbitMQSolid Linux system administration experienceEnglish fluencySoft SkillsStrong team player with collaborative mindsetAbility to learn and adapt quicklyProblem‑solving and analytical thinkingInitiative and ownership in infrastructure improvementCustomer‑centric thinkingWhat You Will Find at ScalewayHybrid work: We offer up to 3 days of remote work per weekOffices: Our offices are spacious, dynamic workspaces with bold design, conveniently located near public transport.
