Job SummarySupport Constellium’s initiative to enhance efficiency in scrap metal purchasing and recycling, and achieve best‑in‑class performance in metal value management. Responsibilities Develop tools to support metal procurement, identifying best opportunities on the scrap market, measuring scrap profitability, and assisting operational teams in running casting equipment at optimal performance. Gain deep understanding of casthouse operations and the needs of all metal stakeholders, including procurement, recycling, casting, downstream production, supply chain, and finance. Translate business requirements into functional application features. Design and develop applications or supervise subcontractors; provide support to internal customers and resolve technical issues. Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality applications within agreed budget. Qualifications Preferred engineering degree in a relevant discipline or proven experience (data science, computer science). 2-4 years of work experience related to digital technologies or activities in the industry. Advanced Python (pandas, numpy, streamlit, matplotlib, SQLAlchemy, unittest, pulp, requests/httpx). Proficient in Git/GitHub (branches, rebasing, clear commits). Strong SQL knowledge. Good experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and REST API (consumption and development; GraphQL is a plus). Industrial/manufacturing environment experience. Solid mathematical background. Bonus skills: metal industry experience; Azure cloud services; IIoT technologies (MQTT, IO-Link, LoRa, Node-RED); traceability solutions (RFID, barcode). Location The role is based at our C‑TEC facility in Voreppe, France.
