Role Details : Quality Lead Altrad are currently on the lookout for a Quality Lead to join the business to lead and deliver high-quality support to stakeholders in operational quality matters that meet the needs of internal / external customers. Key Deliverables : Develop and implement local annual audit programme to verify compliance to Company policy and standards and for the opportunity to facilitate improved working practice. In consultation with HSE, maintain integrated approach to Q & HSE management systems / procedures and their application. Identify and report the non-application of Company Policy, procedures or standards. Immediately notify General Manager Technical Services of any reported customer complaints or other serious quality issues. Report any deficiencies within IMS to the General Manager Technical Services. Carry out local employee quality inductions. To develop local strategies and methodologies consistent with our companies IMS Policy and procedure and engender positive quality attitudes and improve local quality performance. Develop and deploy Local Quality awareness campaigns consistent with Company Policies that promote and sustain a positive Quality culture. Ensure competent and adequate quality function resource and documentation to support local business needs. Develop Quality Plans / Inspection & Test Plans / Quality Inspection Check Lists and procedures to support local business in accordance with Company standards / procedures. Develop and maintain positive relationships with local customers and other relevant 3rd parties. Consistent and effective application of Company Policy, Objectives procedures / standards and initiatives. Effective and value added support to the local businesses. Prevention of quality failures. Maintaining an integrated approach to Q & HSE. Continual Improvement in employee attitudes to quality. Continual Improvement in local quality performance. Apply Company quality function competency standards to current and new employees. Identify local quality function training needs. Deliver regular and suitable quality awareness and training that support the local business. Attend training courses and conferences as directed by the General Manager Technical Services. Key Requirements : In depth knowledge and application of IMS. Knowledge and application of BS EN ISO : , PED 97 / 23 / EC; EN;DIN EN ISO -2 (EN -2) ASME I, VIII; ANSI B31 and other sector specific Quality Standards. 3-5 years’ experience in a Quality functional role within Service & Construction Management and / or Energy / Manufacturing Industry. Academic, or vocational qualification i.e. ONC / HNC / HND (preferably in a related subject) or equivalent, significant and related professional experience plus accredited training qualifying towards registration (e.g Practitioner Member) of a recognised professional institution (e.g. CQI) would be preferred PCN 3.1, PCN 3.2 Inspection Certificates Good leadership qualities.
