Position: Procurement and Supply Chain ResponsibleProject: Nuclear Fusion reactor - ITER, META TCC2Responsibilities:Manage procurement services to ensure timely availability of items that meet performance requirementsLead all procurement activities (Purchasing, Expediting, Inspection, Logistics) and Supply Chain activities (Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing Implementation, Process Improvement)Prepare progress report documentationDefine strategies for contractual and commercial management of contractsManage project procurement activities and coordinate the Supply Chain DivisionDevelop procurement plans, strategies, instructions, procedures, and standard documentsInterface with the Project Team and coordinate with the clientSupport procurement of investment equipment, technical services subcontracts, spare parts, and logisticsFollow up on procurement activities, including purchasing, expediting, inspection, and logisticsManage contractual and commercial aspects of contractsHandle all phases of purchasing, from inquiry to close-out, including bid evaluation and negotiationProactively expedite delivery schedules and coordinate factory acceptance tests and installationCoordinate with Inspection and Construction teams for workshop visits, material receipt, and resolving issuesQualify subcontractors and manage logistics, including shipping, customs, and permitsDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, manage tender processes, and negotiate contractsOversee subcontractor progress, conduct FAT and SAT, and manage purchase order variationsCoordinate documentation, including final dossiers, invoices, and delivery notesEnsure all procurement and supply chain activities adhere to project schedules and requirementsEducation:Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant fieldExperience:Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in large international engineering projectsLanguages:English (fluent, B2), Spanish and/or French are a plusLocation:Cadarache, near Aix-en-Provence, France, with some travel as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
