Location: Lyon, France (Hybrid) Languages: English (French is a plus) What you’ll do Design, deliver, and operate software solutions that accelerate the delivery of life‑changing medicines. Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and reliability of complex systems. Contribute to the technical vision within your project while aligning with Sanofi’s broader engineering strategy. Translate requirements into high‑quality, performant, and secure code. Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and peers to achieve on‑time delivery. Take ownership of technical decisions and support the full software development lifecycle—from concept to production. Champion best practices in software engineering, testing, and documentation. Build and maintain modern, cloud‑native applications designed for impact and scale. Engage in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across teams. Communicate clearly and proactively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Requirements 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering (or equivalent knowledge). Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js) and React or similar frontend frameworks. Deep understanding of microservice architectures, API design, and cloud security best practices. Hands‑on experience with CI / CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar). Experience working with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong problem‑solving skills with a growth mindset and curiosity for learning new technologies. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in an agile environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is a plus.
