Senior Principal Packaging, Sustainability & Performance This role acts as the operational link in France for the Packaging Sustainability & Performance Director. The Senior Principal will translate global sustainability strategies into concrete local actions, coordinate technical execution, and actively contribute to improving product and packaging performance. The incumbent ensures that projects carried out across Europe align with global objectives, regulatory expectations, and brand sustainability, performance packaging and resource management ambitions. RESPONSABILITÉS CLÉS Operational lead of the product sustainability roadmap. Deploy the global product sustainability roadmap locally (packaging, purchasing, formulation) across Europe. Coordinate and follow up on sustainability actions for European product categories in collaboration with category sustainability experts. Support the coordination, monitoring and global reporting alongside the Global Director of Product Sustainability & Performance. Ensure the feedback of product sustainability data and indicators. Implement regulatory action plans. Participate in impact analyses and the development of regulatory action plans with global leadership. Integrate regulatory constraints into product development processes and supplier contracts. Maintain close collaboration with packaging, R&D, industrial and regulatory teams based in France. Data and performance indicator management. Translate global data requirements into local structures in coordination with Quality and IT teams. Contribute to the implementation, evolution and improvement of IT tools related to packaging. Participate in defining, validating and deploying data necessary for performance tracking (activities, sustainability, regulatory compliance). Packaging performance improvement. Lead local initiatives to improve quality, productivity and digitalization of packaging. Relay and implement global training programs on sustainability, packaging techniques and regulatory topics. Maintain clear and regular communication with global management. Identify local resource and budget needs and contribute to their global planning. VOTRE PROFIL Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree (Bac+5) in packaging, sustainability, engineering or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in packaging, sustainability or performance, ideally in cosmetics or FMCG. Strong grasp of regulatory and environmental issues related to packaging. Compétences requises Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and coordinate local and global teams. Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong reporting capability. Solid understanding of regulatory, technical and CSR frameworks for packaging. Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy and result orientation. Comfortable in matrixed and multicultural environments.
