Our team of 400 people across France, New York, and Singapore is united by the ambition to shake up the global video platform ecosystem.Our team embraces four core values: Opening Perspectives, Making Bold Moves, Building a Safer World, and Creating Meaning.Job DescriptionAs part of the Video Team, you will play a key role in improving the core foundations of our product and building innovative features in close collaboration with Architects, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters.Design and build Backend systems using REST services.Design and improve video processing systems (scheduling, state machine, processing tasks).Design and improve video upload system.Provide analysis capabilities on a Big Data system.Proactivity on evolutions and improvements.QualificationsRequiredMassive experience in software backend architecture and development, including backend services and automated testingProficient in object-oriented designProficient with one of the following containerization solutions: Docker, PodmanProficient with building REST APIsExperience with SQL databasesExperience with data analysis with BigQuery or equivalentExperience with developing and deploying applications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)Excellent problem-solving skillsProficiency in written and verbal English (documentation, team presentations, meetings)Nice to haveExperience with one or more languages of our technical stack: PHP, Go, Python, JavaExperience with continuous integration, orchestration, continuous deployment testing and automation tools: Docker, KubernetesKnowledge in microservices architectureExperience working with Agile methodologiesAt Dailymotion, we empower candidates to take action.
