You will play an essential role in supporting the assembly, integration, and testing of spacecraft electronics subsystems to ensure they meet functional and operational standards. This role requires close collaboration with engineers and technicians to perform hardware and functional testing, manage testing environments, define and create harnesses and routing diagrams, develop EGSE, and contribute to environmental testing campaigns. A strong attention to detail, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to manage various testing configurations are crucial for success.The current team comprises several AIT engineers and technicians across missions (LEO, GEO, Rendez-vous), and this role will support test phases for diverse mission types.Main TasksElectronics Assembly & Integration: Perform assembly and integration of electronic subsystems, such as avionics, EPS, communication modules, and harnesses, ensuring alignment with design specifications and electrical schematics.Harness Definition: Participate in the specification of harness wiring diagrams, drawings, and platform routing layouts.Harness Manufacturing: Produce harnesses according to drawings and install them as per layouts.Test Definition Support: Assist in defining test plans, test cases, and procedures for electrical and functional testing at various levels.System & Functional Testing: Conduct tests on Engineering Models (EM), Qualification Models (QM), and Flight Models (FM) to validate subsystem performance.Testing Environment Maintenance: Set up and maintain test environments, including EGSE and instrumentation.Script Development: Assist in developing automated test scripts in Python and C/C++.Test Procedure Writing: Collaborate on creating detailed test procedures following IVVQ standards.EGSE Design: Define, develop, and manage EGSE for testing support.Environmental Testing & Launch Campaign Support: Participate in environmental testing campaigns and launch preparations.Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR): Identify and report anomalies, working with Quality teams.Documentation: Maintain test records, generate reports, and ensure traceability.You will work under the supervision of the AIT Team Leader and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position is based in Massy.Preferred ExperienceExotrail is seeking an AIT Technician with hands-on experience in electronics and system testing, ideally within aerospace or satellite industries. The candidate should have:Technical diploma or degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.Experience in electronics assembly, integration, and testing in high-reliability sectors.Certification in electrical skills such as crimping or soldering.Background in Electrical Systems and EGSE design.Proficiency in Python and C/C++ scripting.Knowledge of IVVQ processes, system testing, and environmental campaigns in space industry.Expertise in ESD protocols and cleanroom standards.Knowledge in EMC and RF testing is a plus.A minimum of 2 years in electronic assembly, integration, and testing in a high-tech or aerospace environment is required.
