Reporting to the CFO / Head of Finance, the Industrial Financial Controller will play a key role in building Infinite Orbits’ financial control framework and bridging Finance, Engineering, and AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) teams. Job Description Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts for R&D and production activities. Lead monthly closings, analyse actual vs. budget variances, and propose corrective actions. Produce management reports for leadership and investors. Set up production cost tracking: components, labour, subcontracting, testing, etc. Help define standard costs, cost of goods sold, and project/satellite margins. Contribute to ERP and dashboard implementation for financial and operational tracking. Work closely with Engineering and AIT teams to ensure cost accuracy and traceability, as well as monitoring cash requirements to finance working capital requirements and cash receipts. A thorough understanding of customer/supplier contracts and commitments is essential for modelling forecasts and providing support for potential negotiations. Decision support Support business plan development, cost models, and pricing for new offers. Contribute to grant and subsidy monitoring (CNES, EU, etc.). Be proactive in identifying efficiency improvements and supporting business growth. Requirements Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control, or Engineering with a financial specialization. 3–5 years’ experience in management control, ideally in an industrial, aerospace, or space environment. Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI, etc.).
