No Offer Description A short (5 month) postdoctoral research position is available at the Biotechnology and Cell Signaling institute (CNRS-UMR 7242) in Strasbourg (France). The host team (Nuclear Signaling and cancer) signaling studies interactions implicated in oncogenesis by both structural and functional approaches. The project, which is part of a consortium funded by ANR, will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Katia Zanier. The project deals with the characterization of multi-protein complexes of the NF-kB signaling cascade. The experimental work consists mainly of biochemical analyses. The candidate (M/F) will perform interactomics studies for identification of complex components. In parallel, she/he will perform a screening of conditions for structural analyses by cryo-EM on an already known complex target. The candidate is expected to communicate results clearly and succinctly and to write up the manuscript(s) related to her/his research work. The candidate (M/F) will join the 'Nuclear Signalling and Cancer' team comprising nine members. The team is part of the Mixed Research Unit 'Biotechnology and Cell Signalling' (UMR 7242, CNRS/University of Strasbourg, https://bsc.unistra.fr ), which has approximately 110 researchers focusing on cell signalling pathways and the development of therapeutic strategies. The research unit is located in the Illkirch campus near Strasbourg, which is internationally known for its excellence in life science research. The laboratory has access to the numerous facilities of the campus, which are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation.
