We are looking for a talented, creative, and data privacy-focused attorney who is passionate about working on sophisticated contracts and closing deals and comfortable in a collaborative environment that minimizes hierarchy. You will need to provide outstanding legal service, coordinate and work closely with other teams to close contracts, pay close attention to detail, and bring sound and balanced legal and business judgment, together with constructive people skills, to everything you do. You should have a keen interest in learning about Wiz and what we do.WHAT YOU’LL DOBe a legal business partner to Wiz’s revenue teams in EMEA, summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks in a way that is meaningful to business teamsTake ownership of the drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of legal agreements. Advise your fellow Wizards on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocitySeek to understand the context of the positions of Wiz’s customers and the requests from Wiz’s internal clients, and strive to solve problems and address issues from their perspectiveTriage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal clients and delivering results efficientlySupport the continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processesManage agreements that comply with company policies and risk toleranceWHAT YOU’LL BRING4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology companyKnowledge of data privacy and experience in handling and dealing with data privacy related questions when negotiating Data Processing AgreementsBoth written and verbal fluency in either German or FrenchAdmitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in Israel, the UK or at least one country in Europe with a demonstrated record of success as a lawyerStrong “business-friendly” style that comes with an understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the businessAbility to structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts, including SaaS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAsStrong communication skills in English, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamExperience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systemsApplicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based, without the need for visa sponsorship.
