Location: North of France Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months (extension possible) Sector: Power Generation – GRP (Gas, Renewables & Power) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer to support a major project in a combined cycle gas plant. The role involves engineering activities for automation and control systems, ensuring seamless integration of new installations within existing infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Define functional and technical requirements for automation systems Analyze existing architecture (I/O interfaces, protocols) and propose integration scenarios Prepare technical documentation: specifications, functional descriptions, logigrams Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors Support commissioning activities, including FAT/SAT and final acceptance Ensure compliance with QHSE standards Required Skills & Experience Strong expertise in industrial automation and control systems Proficiency with Siemens S7 and ideally Siemens T3000 or equivalent DCS Experience in instrumentation specification and technical documentation Hands‑on involvement in commissioning and testing Excellent communication and teamwork skills With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
