Our aim is to successfully design and test a cost‑effective and reusable mini‑launch vehicle by 2026. 🚀 Flight Engineering Software Development and Validation Engineer Inside MaiaSpace you will join the team that defines and validates the GNC algorithms. You will participate to the 6 dof flight simulation capability, from tool development to simulation campaigns, up to GNC algorithm integration and validation. In this perimeter your responsibilities will include: 6dof flight simulation Contribute to the development and enhancement of the global simulation suite for MaiaSpace software factory. Prototype, develop and test in house solution to cover the needs. Integrate and implement external physical models (mechanical, propulsive, dynamics, ...) in the 6-dof simulation environment. Teamwork with Avionic team to integrate GNC and flight management sequence in the 6-dof Loop. Participate to simulation campaigns and their exploitation for testing, development, qualification and operation of the launcher GNC. Participate in the development of hardware demonstration test campaigns to validate the selected concepts in collaboration with the production teams. Specific Skills & Know‑how Proficiency in programming languages (Matlab, C/C++, Python, Java, XML, …). Space mechanics and space vehicle modelling Good level of English Team spirit, sharing and solidarity Curiosity, adaptation Pragmatism Rigor and precision Qualification Software developper engineer, specialization in aerospace preferred. Level : 5-7 years’ experience in the software development tools for aerospace industry.
