Role Overview We are hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. This is a globally remote, full‑time role focused on next‑gen operations at scale, with pure Python infra‑as‑code from bare metal to containers and applications. Responsibilities Architect, run and automate OpenStack, Kubernetes and software‑defined storage for a large private cloud and public cloud estate. Drive model‑driven operations and devsecops from bare metal to application clusters. Develop pure‑software engineering solutions in Python for infrastructure automation, monitoring and observability. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to keep customers on the latest, best open source solutions. Operate in a high‑pressure environment with mission‑critical services for global brand‑name customers. Travel internationally up to twice a year for company events, up to two weeks long. Qualifications Degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science. Python software development expertise and strong software engineering fundamentals. Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage. Operational and infrastructure experience with a full stack from bare metal to containers. Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility and accountability. Ability to work in a high‑pressure operations environment with mission‑critical services. International travel flexibility for company events. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations. Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
