Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible Your role Within Global Lens Innovation Deployment, the mission of the Marking & Packing team is to industrialise new processes, technologies and products to deliver to Rx Labs and Mass Production Plant standard and robust manufacturing solutions. Main Responsibilities Lead internal/external collaborations for laser process development in collaboration with upstream R&D studies (myopia control, tinting,…). Ensure a tech watch of patent in partnership with IP department, within the field of ophthalmic application. Share laser expertise used in manufacturing equipment within the group. Work in partnership with tech plan to build business case & economics. Participate and convey a vision to steer expertise, execute corresponding roadmaps. Laser process integration in industrial manufacturing equipment. Participate to industrial pilot. Ensure EssilorLuxottica Principles & Values implementation. Main Requirements We are looking for an engineer with a first experience and an appetite for technologies and laser process industrialisation, a person who likes to work in a transversal and collaborative manner internationally, in a large and multiple environment, within a dynamic and innovative team. The following skills will be valued and appreciated for this position: • Generic Physics skills, laser/material interaction ideally enriched with system engineering knowledge to lead equipment development in partnership with suppliers. • First project management experience is a plus.
