Category Buyer ETO – Bushings and Magnetic Cores Category Business Unit: Procurement - Global Supply Chain - Engineering to Order Business Mission The Category Buyer will act as the main SPOC of the suppliers under his/her responsibility, leading business continuity, driving strategy, supplier base development and optimization, and enhancing digital and sustainable aspects with suppliers and their supply chain. Responsibilities Magnetic cores CBAM impact & understanding for GOES material & / or finish cores: understand and manage the strategy accordingly Safeguards: understanding of the EU position, feedback from the market: anticipate strategy updates, inform the plant, calculate potential impact, and change allocation. Clear data management to calculate exposure is key. Market insight: more CN suppliers investing in TR & Europe – follow the market, challenge the plant to launch qualification and track it. Manage the triangle model and calculate the right prices (batch for GOES, currency effects). Supplier management: QVE & packaging follow‑up (NLL management, packaging returns, weekly connection sessions). Data management: weekly dashboard linked with consumption (vs forecast impacting the WAP), allocation impacting the WAP, managing capacity with each supplier + GOES file impacting 50% of the Transfo TP. Animate the weekly coffee talk: inform the plant about the market and ways to adjust our transfo prices based on market conditions to maintain margin during tendering stages. Bushings Manage capacity increase: CAPEX with different suppliers to increase moulds and capacity. Manage new product development for ETO. Track & manage qualification in the plants. Provide market insight regarding resin prices and potential impacts. Negotiate with strong German suppliers, showcasing familiarity and market understanding. Push & track all QVE: manage ideas and follow‑up. Additional Responsibilities Interface with Category Manager to collect ETO specifications, specify qualification criteria, and contribute to segmentation of the strategy. Contribute and implement the strategy (SOC) in the cluster perimeter. Negotiate global frame‑agreement with «cluster» suppliers. Initiate and drive breakthrough (make or buy, rebalancing, SBO, innovation…) on the category and follow advancement. Develop supplier competitiveness and assess quality level; react to deviations. Organize lessons learned per category (multi‑supplier approach); deliver experience on key projects or the ETO dimension. Secure supplier competitiveness on the commodity perimeter and performance on negotiation levers. Raise and address cluster supplier quality of service and business continuity. Business continuity first level for escalation. Support PPM and Group Manager on SRM strategy (Sponsorship, C2P, Business review). Supplier base next generation; supplier selection connected with Category Strategy. Required Skills and Experience Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or a relevant field from a leading institution with excellent academic credentials is preferred. Experience in Transformer Business procurement is critical. Possessing relevant technical acumen. Understanding transformer specifications regarding magnetic cores & bushings. Min 3‑5 years' experience in Procurement Management with acquired skills in negotiation, supplier relationship management, supplier base development, quality, lead time, etc. Able to navigate in a complex environment and organization, connecting with people and creating strong networking. Ability to influence, convince through strong stakeholder management and drive positive change management. Capability of handling multiple tasks and priorities, adapting to stakeholders and peers. Own full accountability and leadership of the topics under scope; manage end‑to‑end governance. Strong customer focus with an understanding of Supply Chain and Quality processes. Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SAP. Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a definite advantage.
