This role requires strong programming skills, an understanding of software development best practices, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams. The Intermediate Software Developer builds upon foundational experience to take on more complex projects while continuing to grow into a senior-level contributor.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, test, and debug software applications according to specificationsImplement new features and enhancements in alignment with project requirementsEnsure applications are efficient, maintainable, and meet quality standardsWork closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver software solutionsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesCollaborate on integration tasks with system engineers and DevOps teamsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeParticipate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and maintainabilityContribute to technical documentation including design specifications and user manualsProficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)Experience with software frameworks and libraries (e.g., .NET, Angular, React, Spring Boot)Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIsFamiliarity with Git and version control systemsUnderstanding of Agile development methodologiesBasic experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is preferredRequired QualificationsDoD 8140 CertificationDesired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldDemonstrated experience in developing, testing, and deploying software applicationsAbout PingWindPingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government.
