Operative Purchaser

We are looking for an Operative Purchaser for our Team in Surgères in France. This role is permanent. What you will be doing: Ensure operational purchasing for engine ranges (nuclear and military power plants). Participate in global supply chain activities. Ensure strict compliance with processes and nuclear safety culture. Anticipate future needs in collaboration with internal and external resources. Execute purchase orders: tracking, confirmations, and rescheduling. Verify the validity of technical and quality specifications in coordination with Sales, Technical, and Quality teams. Read and interpret technical specifications and drawings. Issue forecasts to suppliers when necessary. Monitor deliveries and update the ERP system (lead times, dates, prices). Apply supplier penalties when applicable. Manage stock levels and control MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). Promote cooperation between cross-functional teams and suppliers. Collaborate with strategic buyers for escalations (delays, lack of sources). Handle quality notifications. You will succeed in this role if you: Bachelor's degree with experience as a Purchaser. Proficiency in French and English. Knowledge of purchasing processes and global supply chain. Ability to read technical drawings and documents. Rigorous and collaborative mindset. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
