TL;DR You'll lead and grow our design team (currently 1 product designer + 1 system designer), hiring a brand designer, product designer and possibly design engineers. What You’ll Do Lead the design team — hire, coach, and develop 3-5 designers across product, brand, and systems Set the quality bar — establish design standards, critique rituals, and feedback culture Own the design system — build foundations that scale with the product Partner with product, engineering & marketing — embedded in roadmap planning and execution Ship great work — maintain craft oversight and quality across all touchpoints Build the culture — make Finary known for design excellence What We’re Looking For 3+ years managing designers in a scale-up or strong product company Experience managing diverse profiles — product designers, design engineers, brand designers, or system designers Strong craft — your portfolio shows attention to detail, typography, and interaction design Systems thinker — you've built or contributed to a design system at scale Product-minded — you think in outcomes, not outputs High agency — you ship fast and own your decisions AI-fluent — you use AI tools daily in your workflow Nice to Have B2C fintech or consumer app experience Experience with mobile-first products French language skills (team is bilingual) What We Offer €100,000 - €110,000* base salary depending on experience and seniority Equity at all levels of seniority Flexibility — office in Paris with remote-friendly culture High impact — shape the product used by millions Autonomy — own your domain, make real decisions Growth — build and scale a team at a pivotal moment we can go higher for outstanding profiles.
