Coders Connect is partnering with Sanofi to support the Digital Manufacturing & Supply Accelerator team, a program transforming the production and delivery of life‑saving medicines through AI and data‑driven innovation. Based in Lyon, France, this Data Engineer role enhances Sanofi’s global digital transformation and offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise in a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment. What you'll do Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines that turn raw data into actionable insights. Build and optimize data models for performance and scalability. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Apply data quality checks and ensure alignment with governance standards. Automate data ingestion, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain healthy pipelines. Develop ETL and ML workflows to provide clean, AI‑ready datasets. Follow best practices in CI/CD, containerization, and data engineering standards. Experience Hands‑on experience implementing data pipelines and data warehouse solutions in cloud environments. Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and orchestration tools. Proven ability to work effectively across teams and translate business goals into technical outcomes. Technical Skills Proficiency in SQL with experience using data warehousing solutions (Snowflake preferred). Experience with Python, ETL tools (IICS or similar), and dbt. Knowledge of AWS and orchestration tools like Airflow. Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Awareness of modern data engineering patterns and standards. Soft Skills & Qualifications Strong problem‑solving and collaboration abilities. Proactive and adaptable in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. Excellent communication across technical and business teams. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). Fluency in English required.
