They lead project teams and collaborate with clients and their external auditors (including Big 4 firms) on all aspects of accounting engagements, from report writing to developing client relationships and driving business development.Take ownership of your career at CFGI:Gain exposure to a range of industries and/or projects.Make a true business impact with your clients.Own projects from start to finish.Experience client interaction and thrive in a client-facing role.Be consistently challenged and learn through a collegial environment created from top tier experts hired within the firm.Create your own path.Enjoy what you doWhat you might expectInteract with clients’ executive teams and auditors, serving as a subject matter expert, leading clients through complex accounting issues and driving conclusions.Lead client engagement and own delivery on operational due diligence for complex transactions (e.g., IPOs, acquisitions and divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises).Drive client deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with IFRS standards and regulatory requirements of French and EU markets (e.g., AMF filings, ESEF compliance, EU financial disclosure).Serve as a subject matter expert on projects related to new IFRS standards and other European accounting regulations.Lead process improvement projects and implementation of changes.Mentor managers and consultants, fostering engagement and professional growth, and providing constructive feedback.Lead firm initiatives and identify areas for improvements.Play an active role in the firm’s recruiting efforts, client relationship building and business development.Who you areA Master’s degree with a curriculum in Accounting – a French accounting designation (e.g., DEC, DSCG) or a CPA and/or MBA (or equivalent) is highly preferred.At least eight years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting/finance.Strong knowledge of IFRS, French GAAP, and U.S. GAAP (a plus), with familiarity in public company reporting.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to integrate seamlessly into teams and interact effectively with clients and auditors.Ability to identify client needs and deliver solutions, building strong and trusted client relationships.Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead client engagements and drive successful outcomes.Highly organized, focused, and able to set clear expectations and direction for your team.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and SalesIndustriesBusiness Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
