The Role We seek a visionary AI Architect to pioneer next‑generation AI solutions integrating generative AI, agentic AI architectures, and collaborative agentic mesh ecosystems. This role demands expertise in designing self‑organizing AI systems that blend large language models (LLMs), small language models (SLMs), and multi‑agent frameworks to drive disruptive technological transformation. Candidates must: Demonstrate mastery in translating theoretical AI advancements into scalable, ethical systems with measurable real‑world impact Be able to attest to customer assignments across the full cycle of data science, AI, and agentic AI delivery Master data‑science and AI operating and delivery models Have strong skills in managing a complete AI development team (squad) to develop projects according to the state‑of‑the‑art methodology of the field Speak fluent English and French Key Responsibilities Manage a squad of AI and agentic AI experts and developers Bridge the business, the customer, the customer's IT and AI teams, and the AI squad (composed of AI engineers, data scientists) Qualify and challenge customer needs and translate them into AI or agentic AI architecture and solution Certify proposed architectures, ensuring interoperability with existing IT systems Certify the ability to use data repositories useful to designated AI and agentic AI architectures Define the project method and apply it to the squad Monitor the squad's stakeholders for quality of development and compliance with project guidelines Maintain relationships with major AI and agentic AI vendors and Kyndryl's global teams Design generative AI systems leveraging GANs, VAEs, and transformer‑based models for content synthesis, simulation, and data augmentation Architect agentic AI frameworks using LangChain, Hugging Face, GCP Agentspace, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and vector databases to enable autonomous problem‑solving and adaptive learning Implement agentic mesh ecosystems where AI agents collaborate dynamically, combining language, behavioral, and domain‑specific capabilities Develop novel techniques for LLM/SLM fine‑tuning, including retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and context‑aware prompt engineering Optimize inference performance for real‑time applications using MLOps pipelines and cloud‑native deployment with native PaaS Lead R&D initiatives in neuro‑symbolic AI, mechanistic interpretability, and ethical guardrails for autonomous systems Collaborate with high‑performance teams in deploying AI systems that redefine industry standards (e.g., healthcare diagnostics, financial forecasting, supply chain resilience) Publish whitepapers and patents on emerging AI architectures, emphasizing sustainability and bias mitigation Maintain a technological watch on AI, GenAI, and agentic AI themes Education PhD in Machine Learning, Computational Neuroscience, or AI Ethics (or niche MSc with 8+ years in complex AI systems) Mandatory experience in an IT services company or consulting firm as an AI Architect Consultant and agentic AI Technical Expertise 7+ years building production‑grade AI systems using generative AI frameworks such as PyTorch Lightning, Hugging Face Transformers, Stable Diffusion, OpenAI, Grok, etc. Experience with agentic AI tools: Hugging Face, NVIDIA Toolkits, hyperscaler AI agent services, LangChain, vector databases, MCP, A2A protocols, etc. Proficient in LLM/SLM optimization techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, and RLHF Proven ability to design multi‑agent systems with emergent collaboration capabilities Cognitive & Professional Traits Lateral thinker with patents/publications in ICML, NeurIPS, or AAAI demonstrating unconventional problem‑solving Portfolio of projects showcasing 10x efficiency gains through AI‑driven process reinvention Fluency in ethical AI frameworks (EU AI Act, OECD AI Principles) Preferred Qualifications (Good To Have) Contributions to open‑source AI projects (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, Hugging Face) Experience with neuromorphic computing or quantum machine learning integration Advisory roles in AI policy committees or standardization bodies Recognized experience in IT consulting firms or IT services companies What We Offer Lead groundbreaking projects at the intersection of generative AI and agentic autonomy Large base of diverse customers and real‑world use cases to solve Apply With Technical whitepaper demonstrating original thinking in AI architecture GitHub repository showcasing complex system designs Doctoral thesis abstract (if applicable) Shape the future of autonomous intelligence systems.
