Social Media Intern (Digital Creative & Growth) Kompanion Care is on a mission to make mental health support more accessible, human, and relatable. We build tools and content that help people feel understood, supported, and less alone — especially young people navigating stress, anxiety, and major life transitions. Our social media presence is a core part of how we build trust and connection with our community, and we take a thoughtful, creator‑led, video‑first approach to content. About the role We’re looking for a highly creative, multi-skilled Social Media Intern who can think strategically, design compelling visuals, create strong written content, and edit engaging short‑form video and UGC‑style content. This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture, is fluent in TikTok/Reels formats, and knows how growth, storytelling, and creative execution work together — especially in sensitive, mental‑health‑related spaces. What you’ll do Create and edit short‑form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), including UGC‑style content that feels authentic and platform‑native. Design on‑brand visuals using tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe. Write empathetic, clear captions and on‑screen text aligned with Kompanion Care’s voice. Contribute to content ideation, campaign concepts, and creative testing. Support social media growth through trend research, experimentation, and performance analysis. Help plan and manage content calendars across platforms. Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, saves, shares, growth) and iterate based on insights. Stay current on platform trends while being thoughtful about mental health context and safety. What we’re looking for Strong interest in social media, digital content, and audience growth. Hands‑on experience creating content across video, design, and written formats. Experience editing short‑form video (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar). Comfort creating or editing UGC‑style content (on‑camera or voiceover‑based). Strong sense of pacing, hooks, storytelling, and visual hierarchy. Passion for mental health, wellness, or mission‑driven work. Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of creative projects. Your experience Experience growing a TikTok or Instagram account. Basic motion graphics or animation skills. Familiarity with social analytics or A/B testing. Background in psychology, health, design, or communications. What you’ll gain End‑to‑end ownership of social and digital creative work.
