Continuous Improvement Engineer

OverviewPrysmian is a global cabling solutions provider leading the energy transition and digital transformation. The Gron site, located in Yonne near SENS, is the French center of excellence for high voltage cables and is fully involved in ecological and energy transition.ResponsibilitiesLead and guide cross-functional teams empowered to execute continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, facilitate operations, and achieve overall savings.Facilitate, train, and coach the plant team in the use of continuous improvement tools and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.Lead and coordinate continuous improvement actions and projects stemming from the plant or group strategy (e.g., investment projects) ensuring timely completion.Implement new technologies to monitor and analyze processes (IoT, etc.).Manage the implementation of new software systems: MES, Historian, etc.Participate in safety involvement teams and maintain awareness of safety considerations in all activities.Analyze and improve organizational performance.Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and quality.Ensure the transposition/transfer of the group’s strategy to the plant level.QualificationsFluent in English and French.Degree in Industrial Engineering.Up to 5 years (and more) of experience in the manufacturing industry and application of LEAN concepts.Lean Six Sigma certified (Black Belt/Master Black Belt or Green Belt).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Strong teamwork, results orientation, and ambitious mindset.What We OfferPermanent contract.Salary over 13 months.Transport allowance.Subsidised canteen access.Mutual insurance with employer contribution 60%, provident fund, and time savings account.Stock option plans.Company savings plan.Collaborative environment and dynamic, respectful workplace.Selection ProcessApplicationHR interviewHiring Manager interviewOnline assessment (30 minutes)DE&I and DataPrysmian is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity, inclusion, and respect across all levels of the organization.
