Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Officer (Volunteer)Please note that the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Officer operates as a transversal function within the EFPRP. While administratively housed within the Human Resources Department to foster cultural integration, this Officer collaborates directly with the Internal Support & Internal Affairs (IS&IA) Department to ensure impartial oversight, compliance, and independent reporting.This position is recognized as Internship Friendly. In this transformative role, you will champion an environment where every voice is heard, respected, and valued, regardless of background. You will lead the development of policies that dismantle barriers and foster genuine belonging. By integrating inclusivity into our DNA, from recruitment to leadership, you will ensure that the EFPRP remains a modern, ethical, and representative organization at the forefront of social progress within the NGO sector.Personal EvolutionAutonomyAdministrative WorkTechnical ExpertiseResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement policies to promote diversity and inclusion.Conduct training and workshops on bias, sensitivity, and cultural competence.Investigate and resolve complaints regarding discrimination or harassment.Audit recruitment processes to minimize bias.Partner with community organizations to broaden our outreach.Advise leadership on inclusive language and practices.Monitor diversity metrics within the organization.Must HaveSpecialized experience in DEI, social work, or human rights.Deep understanding of social justice issues and European demographics.Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.Empathy and high ethical standards.Ability to handle sensitive conversations with care.Nice to haveLegal background or knowledge of anti-discrimination laws.Experience in an international NGO setting.What\’s great in the job?Championing equality within a major humanitarian organization.Making a tangible difference in the organizational culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
