Responsibilities:Demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to HSE.Implement HSE requirements within the ICSS and Instrumentation area.Supervise and coordinate the ICSS and Instrumentation engineering related activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor.Provide support and expertise in the ICSS and Instrumentation discipline.Challenge and support the Contractor in the value engineering exercise; promote alternative designs to optimize cost, work, and schedule.Timely revise and comment on engineering documents; consolidate comments related to electrical deliverables; liaise with other engineering specialists and entities (Operations, HSE, etc.) as required.Ensure all engineering activities related to ICSS and Instrumentation are performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, FPSO Key Technical Requirements, and high HSE standards, within the agreed time schedule and cost.Prepare deviation requests to FPSO Key Technical Requirements; follow up with Company Head Office experts to ensure timely responses.Act as HIPPS champion for the HIPPS Dossier, including preparation and participation in the HIPPS Committee.Promptly respond to engineering clarifications, requests for deviations, and unexpected technical issues with a proactive approach.Conduct studies leading to technical decision-making and issue recommendations to Project Management.Liaise with Head Office to obtain expertise in specific ICSS and Instrumentation subjects when required.Assist in Procurement activities.Assist Commissioning and Operations in preparing their activities.Support preparation and participation in Project technical reviews; provide answers and ensure timely implementation of findings in the ICSS and Instrumentation discipline.Ensure proper reporting activities, highlighting critical issues to the Engineering Manager and proposing remedial actions.RequirementsAdvanced expertise in ICSS and Instrumentation Engineering activities in Oil & Gas projects.Rigorous and solution-oriented approach to task completion.Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and transverse coordination skills.Languages: English mandatory, French is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
