Responsibilities You work on different topics related to hardware security analysis. Typical projects range across the following categories: Expertise project: It can be a black box reverse engineering project or a security evaluation project in a white or grey box manner. You participate in the project scoping, do the investigations, attend customer meetings, and compile a report (PDF or notebooks). R&D: Develop practical knowledge on side‑channel analysis techniques to fuel our esDynamic platform. Share your findings or views in a technical article (e.g. blog post). Training services: Perform technical training on side‑channel analysis to a novice to expert audience. Develop new training content and improve existing training courses for our esCoaching offering. We deal with small groups of trainees coming from prestigious international companies (e.g. semiconductor, OEM) and organisations (e.g. academics, gov agencies). Some projects may require interacting with customers from all over the world. Qualifications Master or PhD in computer science or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in physical attacks on cryptography and other security function targets embedded into a chip. Proficient in side‑channel analysis from the hardware setup to the key extraction. Solid background in cryptography. Background knowledge in chip microarchitectures. Experience in reverse engineering is a plus. Python programming. You demonstrate good interpersonal skills that will allow you to work as a team effectively.
